To connect simply means choosing to unite oneself with someone or something else. So many people go through life without committing themselves to anything worthwhile – eventually putting to waste all the gifts and opportunities given to them by God.
Jesus said we are to be the “salt of the earth” and the “light of the world”. His desire is for us to be connected with His Kingdom work on earth by actively influencing our homes, work places, communities, and the world.
